About Our Founder

Mary Walsh-Aframe is the founder and owner of The Women's Image Center, a healthcare boutique dedicated to supporting women in the New England area through the challenges of cancer treatment. With over 25 years of experience, Mary has built her business to provide essential products and services that help women undergoing image changes from cancer treatment regain confidence and well-being. As a certified Mastectomy Fitter through the American Board of Orthotics and Prosthetics, Mary ensures that each woman receives personalized, expert care.

The mission of The Women's Image Center is to assist women undergoing image changes related to their cancer treatments, by promoting confidence and well-being with our products. Mary works tirelessly to empower women to look and feel their best, offering compassionate support to enhance their sense of self-worth during recovery.

In addition to her work at The Women’s Image Center, Mary serves on the board of Pink Revolution and has worked closely with Congressman James P. McGovern on initiatives to improve Medicare coverage for chemotherapy-related wigs and custom breast prostheses.

Mary's dedication to empowering women was recognized with the Ruth Addison Award at the FOCUS 2022 conference. Her unwavering commitment to her community continues to make a profound impact on the lives of women undergoing life-altering treatments.
