How To Wash A Synthetic Wig
Shampoo Wig With A Gentle Shampoo, In Lukewarm Water. (Note: Baby Shampoo Is Not Gentle - Use Shampoo For Color Treated Hair).
Cleanse By Gently Squeezing The Wig - Like You Would When Washing Delicate Clothing.
Turn Wig Inside Out And Repeat The Process.
Rinse Thoroughly - Repeat If Necessary.
Condition The Wig By Using A Small Amount Of Conditioner. (Note: Use Conditioner For Color Treated Hair).
First, Rub The Conditioner Into The Palms Of Your Hands And Then Evenly Distribute Throughout The Wig.
Rinse All The Conditioner Out. (Note: Do Not Comb The Wig When Wet).
Place On An Inverted Flower Vase Until Dry. (Note: It Takes About 5-7 Hours For The Wig To Completely Dry).
Comb Wig With A Comb, Use Comb Provided.
Wash Wig About Every 7 Days Or Sooner, If Needed.
ADDITIONAL CARE TIPS:
Avoid All Excessive Heat Such As Stoves, Ovens, Campfires, Woodstoves, Steam, Tea Kettles And Dishwashers.
Do Not Store Wig In The Bathroom.
Do Not Use Curling Irons, Flatirons, Or Hair Dryers On Wig.
How To Wash A Breast Prosthesis
Bra Care Instructions
For the longest lifespan of your products we recommend hand washing your bra in warm water with a mild detergent.
If you are in a pinch, you can alternatively place your bra in a laundry bag with all hooks securely closed in the back or front. Wash on a delicate cycle with lukewarm (never hot) water and do not use fabric softener. Only wash intimates together, no other garments including clothing and/or towels.
Line dry, never put in the dryer.
Breast Form Care Instructions
Clean your breast form daily in lukewarm water with mild soap and dry off with a soft towel. Chlorinated or salt water will not harm your breast form.
Swim Form Care Instructions: Hand wash in warm water thoroughly wash and rinse after each use. Lay flat to dry.
Foam Form: Spot wash by hand. Do not use soap. Rinse thoroughly and line dry.
Cover: Hand wash warm. Do not bleach. Line dry
Avoid stretching, twisting, rubbing or using excessive force when handling your breast form.
Store your breast form nipple side down in the travel case provided.
Avoid bringing your breast form in direct contact with perfume, hot surfaces and hot water or abrasive cleaners.
Avoid sharp, pointed objects near your breast form. Pins, fingernails, pet claws, scissors, etc. can all cause permanent damage.
Compression Garments Care Instructions
Wash your Juzo compression sleeve daily (hand or machine wash) with mild soap (no bleach/softeners) in warm/cold water, use a garment bag, and machine dry on low heat or air dry flat/hang, avoiding direct sun/heat to maintain effectiveness and longevity, always checking the care tag for specifics.
Machine Washing (RECOMMENDED)
Use a bag: Place the sleeve in a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase
Detergent: Use mild, non-toxic detergent or Juzo's own; avoid bleach, fabric softeners, chlorine.
Settings: Warm water, gentle/delicate cycle, low permanent press/heat.
Wash inside out: Recommended for better cleaning and protection.
Hand Washing (ALSO ACCEPTABLE)
Water: Lukewarm/warm water in a basin.
Detergent: Small amount of mild soap, swish gently, soak 10-15 mins.
Rinse: Thoroughly rinse all soap out with clean water.
Remove Water: Gently squeeze out excess water; do not wring or twist.
Drying
Machine Dry: Low heat, delicate cycle
Air Dry: Lay flat or hang to air dry, away from direct sunlight or heat.
Key Tips:
Wash Daily: To remove skin oils and sweat, maintaining compression.
Check The Instructions Included In The Box: Always follow the specific care label on your garment.
Protect The Silicone: If you have a silicone border, ensure it's clean; sometimes extra attention is needed.
